​The Port Flinders Reserve – Protecting our environment for future generations. The Whyalla Veterinary has supported the purchase of 400 hectares of coastline between the Causeway road to Weeroona Island in the south and the Telowie Coastal reserve to the north. The western border is the Spencer Gulf and to the east the railway line. The area has been fenced to protect from motorbike and four wheel drives, but is open to walkers and hikers.
